Help — Tag Report

Overview

Tag Report is a read-only view of tag usage across every resource in your Microsoft Places directory — buildings, floors, sections, rooms, workspaces, and desks. It's designed to be shareable with a broader audience than full tag-editing access, the same way Desk Status Report is a read-only counterpart to Control Center.

Using the report

The table shows every tag in use, how many resources carry it in total, and a breakdown by resource type.
Search filters by tag name; the building filter narrows counts to a single building.
Click a tag row to drill down into the actual resources carrying that tag, grouped by building.
Export CSV downloads the current report table.

Permissions required

User.Read — identifies the signed-in user
Place.Read.All only — no write access

Because this app cannot modify any Places data, it's appropriate to share with a wider audience (facilities teams, reporting stakeholders) than full editing tools.
